The Sakurao distillery in Hiroshima carries over a century of brewing craft, working with local Hiroshima botanicals (lemon, yuzu, Japanese cypress, oyster shell and more) in a refined style. "Hamagou" (2021) is a limited-edition dry gin built around the coastal plant hamagou (beach vitex), with its herbal character to the fore.
