Flos Chartaceum DOC Reserve Red 2022
Deep ruby red with intense wild-berry and blackberry-jam aromas, elegantly layered with delicate vanilla from oak ageing; rich and vivid on the palate, silky in texture, with a long, persistent finish. A blend of Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah, fermented in stainless steel at 24°C and aged 6 months in French oak. 14% ABV, 3–5 years of ageing potential. Flos Chartaceum (Latin for "paper flower") takes its inspiration from the delicacy and elegance of paper-craft flowers; this is the DOC Alentejo Reserva tier of the range.
Food Pairing
Serve at 16–18°C. Pairs with grilled red meat, beef stew or aged cheese — its concentrated fruit suits richer dishes.
