Porta da Ravessa Grande Escolha Regional Alentejano Red Wine 2018

Deep, intensely coloured, with black-fruit and ripe-berry aromas seamlessly woven with cask ageing; dense, deep and structured on the palate with an exceptionally long finish that gives the wine real character. A blend of Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Franca, fermented at 26°C with extended maceration, aged 12 months in French oak and a further 12 months minimum in bottle. 14.2% ABV, 6–8 years of ageing potential. This is the flagship of the Porta da Ravessa range — the Grande Escolha. Winner of Silver (88 points) at the 2024 London Wine Competition.
