Terras Lusas DOC Alentejo Red Wine 2024
Bright ruby red with an intense nose of wild berries interwoven with elegant florals; silky on the palate, with fine tannins giving a generous, elegant character and a pleasant, lasting finish. A blend of Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Castelão, given a brief cold pre-fermentation maceration before fermenting in stainless steel at 24°C. 13.5% ABV, 3–4 years of ageing potential. A DOC Alentejo appellation wine, with finer structure than the regional Terras Lusas red.
Food Pairing
Serve at 16–18°C. Pairs with roasted or braised meats and aged cheese — finer in structure than the regional-tier red in the same range.
