Sandeman Port Ruby

Bright ruby colour with an exuberant nose of ripe red and black berries and blackcurrant; the palate balances sweetness with refreshing acidity, finishing on strawberry, blackberry and blackcurrant with soft, round tannins. Sandeman was founded in London in 1790 by brothers George and David Sandeman, and is one of the oldest houses in Port and Sherry; its emblem, "The Don" — a silhouetted figure in a Portuguese student's cape and wide Andalusian hat — was designed by George Massiot Brown in 1928 and remains one of the industry's most recognisable brand marks.
