Highland Park 17 Year The Light

Honey, citrus and smoke intertwine on the nose; concentrated and powerful on the palate, bottled at a robust 52.9% ABV — a recent cask-strength limited release with richer, more concentrated layers than the core range. Highland Park is distilled on Orkney, Scotland's northernmost island group, using malt smoked over its own Hobbister Moor peat — heather-root rich and lower in salinity than Islay peat, giving a lighter, more delicate smoke with heather honey rather than seaweed brine. The brand draws on Viking heritage, with Norse carvings on its bottles.
