Yuan Xijiu Gui Zhou Xi Jiu

"Yuan Xijiu" is Xijiu's more approachable sauce-aroma baijiu, made by "pure-grain solid-state fermentation" — that is, from grain alone by traditional solid-state fermentation, with no added edible alcohol; honest in quality. Xijiu belongs to the Moutai group, made on the banks of Guizhou's Chishui River. Made from sorghum and wheat by the jiangxiang method — mellow in body, pleasing in aroma, supple on the palate. An honest choice for everyday drinking and for the table. Best sipped slowly, neat and at room temperature from a small cup.
