Otokoyama is a celebrated brewery in Asahikawa, Hokkaidō, brewing with spring water from the Daisetsuzan range — the first sake to win a Monde Selection Grand Gold in 1977, a run it has kept up for nearly half a century, famed for its dry (karakuchi) style. This Tokubetsu Junmai (nicknamed the "Sushi Booster") is dry and crisp — the perfect match for sushi and sashimi.
