Hinotori Blended Japanese 5Years Whisky
Hinotori ("phoenix" in Japanese) 5 Year Old blended whisky, from the Hekinan distillery in Aichi, Japan (founded 1949), symbolising revival. It blends pot-distilled malt and grain (the grain containing about 60% corn and 10% wheat), with the malt matured for 5 years in new American white oak casks.

Tasting: Bright gold; fresh, fruity nose with florals and tropical fruit, apple and pear; rounded ripe fruit on the palate with gentle vanilla, and a soft, sweet finish.
