Suntory Whisky TORYS Classic

This is Suntory TORYS Classic, launched in 1946 — one of Japan's longest-loved value whiskies and the very flag of Japanese highball culture, carried into everyday life by the post-war "Torys Bars". At around 37% ABV — slightly below the norm — it is especially gentle and easy, made for relaxed, long drinking. Aromas of honey and apple sweetness, with a whisper of white pepper and vanilla. Soft, smooth and warmly approachable. As Japan's whisky of the people, its value is hard to beat. The classic serve is a soda highball — cooling and superb with food; also easy over ice. A fine choice for a first Japanese whisky, or for lovers of a gentle highball.
