Old Pulteney HUDDART Single Malt Scotch
Mellow wood smoke, honey and oily leather lead at first, blooming with time into crisp green apple, with creamy vanilla and a hint of burnt toffee behind. The smoke never dominates — it locks neatly onto Old Pulteney's own coastal salinity for a balanced, layered whisky. Named after a street in Wick, Huddart is the no-age-statement expression that shows the distillery's smoky side.
Food Pairing
Neat, or with a little water to balance smoke and fruit. Pairs with smoked fish, grilled seafood, smoked cheese or toasted nuts; dark chocolate also lifts the smoky character.
