Balblair 18year Highland Single Malt

Honey opens the nose, turning to marmalade-like orange and warming cinnamon. This is the most sherried of Balblair's core range — apricot pie, poached pear and mango chutney layered over toffee, ginger and a marzipan-cake sweetness — silky and rich on the palate with a long finish. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in first-fill Spanish oak butts. Bottled at 46%.
