Smokehead Sherry Bomb Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The nose explodes with campfire smoke, backed by sherry, pine needles and eucalyptus, with hints of eclair, warm chocolate, vanilla bean and hazelnuts; tastes like a younger Islay matured in good ex-sherry casks, peppery and fruity, with a medium-long, drying finish. Smokehead was launched in 2006 by independent bottler Ian Macleod Distillers, with the source distillery kept a closely guarded secret. It's built around Islay's boldest, most direct peat-smoke style, with a skull emblem and bold branding aimed at a younger audience.
