This is Penfolds Bin 138, a classic "GSM" blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (Mourvèdre), drawn mainly from old vines in South Australia's Barossa Valley. Barossa is one of Australia's most celebrated red wine regions. Generous red berries, cherry and strawberry with spice, a touch of florals and earth — supple tannins and a juicy, exuberant palate. A lively, charming GSM with a Mediterranean soul.
Food Pairing
Serve at room temperature. Pairs with grilled dishes, roast meats, Mediterranean dishes, spiced meats and cheese.
