Connemara Irish Whisky Distillers Edition

Heather honey floral notes mixed with smoke, peat and oak on the nose; a smooth, sweet honeyed front palate gives way to vanilla, oak honey and a chocolatey, earthy peaty note. Peated to around 14–15 ppm, well below the 30–40 ppm typical of Islay, keeping the smoke more restrained and the underlying spirit character clearly visible. Made at the Cooley distillery — a rare peated single malt style from Ireland.
