Teeling Whisky Series 3 Brabazon Bottling 14 Years

Matured 11 years in bourbon casks, then finished 3 years in Pedro Ximénez sweet sherry casks from a family-owned bodega in Jerez dating to the 18th century. Fruitcake and plum pudding on the nose, with a touch of brandy butter; orchard fruit drenched in toffee on the palate, with dark chocolate shavings, clove, fig and nutmeg, followed by toasted brown sugar and stewed berries with cinnamon. Limited to 10,000 bottles worldwide; "Brabazon" is named after the Anglo-Irish noble family who once owned the Liberties area of Dublin, where the distillery now stands.
