Hombo Shuzo's (Mars) Tsunuki distillery, in Kagoshima (the Hombo family's birthplace), has a warmer, more humid climate than Shinshu and a wider temperature range, for a more exuberant maturation. This is the 2022 Limited Edition single malt, matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
