MARS IWAI Japanese Whisky

Iwai is a Hombo Shuzo (Mars) blended whisky — grain-led with malt in support, matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks, smooth with a fruity sweetness. It is named for Kiichiro Iwai, who introduced distillation technology to the house.

Tasting: Sweet, fresh fruit with pear, quince and red berries, ripe cherry and honeyed toffee, and a pleasing note of ginger.
