This is Hennessy V.S.O.P Cognac (current presentation, barcoded), 40% ABV. Founded in 1765, Hennessy is the world's best-selling Cognac house, produced in France's Cognac appellation. V.S.O.P (Very Superior Old Pale) requires eaux-de-vie aged at least 4 years; this Hennessy blends around sixty eaux-de-vie, aged in French oak. Vanilla, dried fruits, clove, cinnamon and oak in a rounded, sweet harmony — balanced, mellow, with a warm finish. A perennial favourite for discovering Cognac and for entertaining — neat, over ice, in a highball, or as a gift.
