Mortlach Aged 12 Years Single Malt Scotch

The distillery's signature "2.81 times" distillation — using six stills of varying sizes for a spirit somewhere between double and triple distilled — gives Mortlach its trademark meaty richness. Rich dried fruit and warm spice on the nose, with a deep savoury character interwoven with dark chocolate, leather and sherry sweetness; full-bodied and complex on the palate, with stewed plum, toffee and cinnamon, finishing long and warm with dried fruit and dark chocolate, at 43.4% ABV. Known as "The Beast of Dufftown," a benchmark for Speyside's boldest, most distinctive style.
