Sweet dairy cream, fresh yeasty bakery bread and faint citrus, vanilla and nutmeg on the nose; whipped cream, toasted coconut, cinnamon and powdered sugar on the palate, finishing silky, elegant and warm. Blended from long-aged grain whiskies matured in quality oak, making the case that grain Scotch deserves appreciation in its own right, not just as filler. From Compass Box, the independent London blending house founded in 2000 by former Johnnie Walker executive John Glaser.
