Mariposa Alegre Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Mariposa Alegre ("joyful butterfly") Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon comes from noted Chilean producer Viña Marty, whose winemaker Pascal Marty formerly worked at Mouton Rothschild and served as co-winemaker of Almaviva. The fruit comes from Colchagua Valley — 100% Cabernet Sauvignon at 14.5% ABV. Fermented in stainless steel at 24–26°C for 8–12 days, then aged 8 months in seasoned French oak. This is the 2021 vintage.

Tasting Notes:
・Colour: Deep ruby red.
・Nose: Ripe redcurrant, blackberry, plum, cassis and mint, framed by clove, cigar box and oak vanilla.
・Palate: Full-bodied with integrated tannins; red and black fruit unfold into spice, with an earthy undertone.
