Clos de Fa Cabernet Sauvignon / Syrah / Merlot 2019

From Pirque, at around 800m altitude in the foothills of the Andes southeast of Santiago — a historic, roughly 2-hectare parcel within the Maipo Alto Valley. Led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Syrah, fermented in stainless steel for around 30 days, then aged 16–18 months in new French oak and held a further two years minimum in bottle before release. Made by Pascal Marty, formerly winemaker at Château Mouton Rothschild, Opus One and Almaviva — the flagship of Viña Marty.
Food Pairing Serve at 16–18°C; decanting recommended. Pairs with grilled steak, braised lamb or aged hard cheese — a wine for special occasions.
