Château Lafite Saga Médoc Rouge Red Wine 2017

This is a Médoc AOC red from Bordeaux's Left Bank, produced by the legendary Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), carrying the Lafite family's winemaking philosophy and fruit-selection standards. The Médoc's free-draining gravel soils are ideal for ripening Cabernet Sauvignon. A Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot-led blend aged in oak — cassis, blackberry, cedar and touches of pencil shavings and spice, with fine tannins, balanced acidity and an elegant palate. One of the more affordable, widely recognised wines in the Lafite family — a dependable introduction to the Left Bank style.
