This is Château Fombrauge Grand Cru Classé 2013, a Bordeaux red from a celebrated classified estate in Saint-Émilion. Merlot-led with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon — layered blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, spice and oak, with fine tannins and a full, elegant palate. An elegant classified-growth wine, best decanted and savoured.
Food Pairing Serve at room temperature. Decant for about an hour. Pairs with red meat, steak, grilled dishes, braised meats and aged cheese.
