A 2016 limited release, aged 30 years entirely in bourbon casks, the peat smoke deepened and softened with age, bottled at 53.5% ABV — a rare, high-age Laphroaig. Laphroaig sits on the southern coast of Islay, using malt smoked over local peat rich in seaweed and salt — giving its signature medicinal, smoky, briny character, more intense and distinctive than most other Islay distilleries.
