Hammer & Son, founded by Danish bartender Henrik Hammer, champions an "Old English" style — harking back to the richer, more robust juniper-forward gins of the pre-Prohibition era, with some expressions briefly oak-aged. Expect pronounced juniper, citrus and light woody spice on the nose, and a rich, full-bodied palate with more weight than many modern craft gins.
