Dubonnet Rouge Liqueur

Dubonnet Rouge, created in 1846 by Joseph Dubonnet, is a classic French aromatized wine aperitif made with a wine base, quinine bark and a blend of herbs, deep red in colour. Expect raisin, spice and a light quinine bitterness on the nose, with a sweet rounded palate and a lightly bitter finish — famously said to be a favourite pre-dinner drink of the late Queen Elizabeth II, traditionally mixed with gin.
Food Pairing Traditionally mixed with gin and ice as a pre-dinner aperitif.
